MULTIFUNCTIONAL 3D LASER ROAD AUSCULTATION
The safety of users and the preservation of the road heritage are the major concerns of the network manager.
The implementation of a rational and effective management approach requires in-depth knowledge of the characteristics of the infrastructures.
Covering a vast area of expertise, these different types of data can be collected at high efficiency by the very latest generation of multifunction auscultation equipment.
Whether creating a road database, updating management systems as part of safety studies or work proposals, these systems provide the precision, productivity and versatility required.
This tool makes it possible to quickly COVER hundreds of kilometres to determine the indicators commonly used in this investigative framework.
CONSTITUTION AND CHARACTERISTICS
The proposed technical solution implements the LCMS system « LASER Crack Measurement System » from the PAVEMETRICS company, of which VIAPIX Systems is one of the certified integrator partners.
This very high-tech measurement system is controlled by a VIAPIX Acquisition module which provides measurement supervision and control.
Features of lcms « laser crack measurement system »

PROFILES CHARACTERISTICS
- Depth of field: 250 mm
- Width of the field of vision: 4 m (at the nominal installation height)
- Transversal resolution: 4160 points (2080 points per sensor)
- Acquisition speed: 0-100 km/h
- No elementary acquisition: 5 mm (configurable)
- Vertical accuracy: ± 0,5 mm
- Transversal accuracy: ± 1 mm
DATA EXPLOITATION
The software applications provided allow a replay of the data acquired in the field, as well as the calculation and visualization of the various road indicators.
All the indicators are imported into the database specific to the VIAPIX system and can also be exported as text files in CSV format, or as GIS layers.
